The hull of the 2-seat BV102S is of moulded GRP and the skirt utilises the Bertin Multi-cell system.  Cushion lift is provided by a 50Hp 2-cycle air cooled engine driving a single central fan, the airflow being ducted to individual skirted plenum chambers.  Thrust is obtained by expelling fan air horizontally through rear thrust ports.
