MHV
Spectra I

It was 1970 when Modern Hover Vehicles brought forth their Spectra-1.  The tandem seating, now common place, seemed revolutionary.  It was unfortunately marketed as a replacement to the snowmobile - which it wasn't! Twin vertically mounted axial fans were powered by a Kohler 18.5 hp 2-stroke engines to provide lift.  A Kohler 27.5 hp 2-stroke engine was directly connected to a 2-bladed propeller.
